Purpose Of Position
The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production line activities to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and meet quality standards.
Essential Functions
Physical Demands:
Activities: Sitting – 15% Walking/Standing – 85%
Lifting: Occasional lift up to 20 lbs.
Bending: Must be able to bend, squat, and climb.
Vision: Long periods of close work on the computer screen and ability to see small or detailed items.
Mental Demands: Interpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Environment: Shop/warehouse, which is not climate controlled. Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust and fumes.

Purpose Of Position
The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production line activities to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and meet quality standards.
Essential Functions
- Lead and coordinate activities of the production line team to meet daily production goals.
- Maintain and report out on the Daily Visual Management (DVM) board, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to communicate team performance, issues, and progress.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the production area (5S standards).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for increased efficiency.
- Ensure team members maintain workflow within the assigned takt time.
- Ensure standard work is followed by all team members; audit regularly and coach deviations to ensure process adherence.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members; support cross-training initiatives to build team flexibility.
- Move or allocate resources (personnel/materials) as needed to support workflow continuity or overflow on the production line.
- Participate in kaizen events and implement standard work improvements to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
- Adhere to established safety guideline.
- Perform other duties which may be required by supervisor.

- Familiarity with production equipment and safety protocols

- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or bachelor's degree a bonus
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Must be able to speak and write in English
- Bilingual with Spanish is a plus
