This role is essential to ensuring accurate, timely payroll for our W-2 and Union employees, supporting compliance and employee satisfaction across the organization.
As our Payroll Administrator, you’ll assist with our complex payroll processes, certified payroll reporting, and serve as the go-to resource for payroll-related questions. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help maintain our reputation for excellence and integrity.

What You’ll Do
- Gather and code timecards for 125 employees.
- Process complex weekly payroll for W-2 and Union employees using ComputerEase.
- Review timekeeping documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Handle certified payroll reporting and owner-controlled Insurance (OCIP) reporting.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation for audits and compliance.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end processes, including reporting.
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience: High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Minimum 2 years in payroll administration; certified payroll reporting experience required.
- Core Payroll Systems: Proficiency in payroll software (ComputerEase, ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms).
- Technical Aptitude: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation). Strong understanding of payroll systems and their impact. Ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and system errors.
- Data Management & Reporting: Comfort with electronic document management and record retention systems. Ability to generate and interpret payroll reports for audits and compliance. Experience with certified payroll reporting. Knowledge of data security protocols for sensitive employee information.
- Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Knowledge of FLSA, wage and hour laws, and union payroll requirements.
