What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer/Systems Integrator position at Industrial Automation Systems, Inc?
Systems integration company is seeking a candidate for a full-time position. This position will be focused in the area of industrial power and control systems. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail and a willingness to learn. Experience is a plus but not required.
Our clients include industrial and manufacturing companies, and much of our work is performed at the client’s facilities in the local driving area. Some travel outside of the local area may be required. If you are interested in control system design, PLC programming, and graphic operator interfaces, then this position could be the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Development of power and control system design packages, including instrument specifications, MCC arrangement drawings, MCC single line diagrams, panel layouts, elementary diagrams, and conduit layouts.
- Development of PLC ethernet networks.
- Development of PLC programs (ladder logic, function block, structured text).
- Development of graphic operator interfaces.
- Commissioning and startup of projects after development and installation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred.
- Knowledge of Allen-Bradley hardware (MCCs, PLCs, VFDs, Ethernet Switches, etc) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Rockwell, InTouch, and AVEVA software a plus.
- Knowledge/experience with AutoCAD a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs is required. (Word, Excel, etc).
