Description Summary

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting sales growth by managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, following up on leads, and assisting customers throughout the sales process. This role works closely with outside sales representatives and internal departments to ensure timely communication, accurate order processing, and a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing direct sales responsibilities with administrative and sales support activities.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming phone calls from potential customers
• Replies to email quotes from potential customers
• Prepare quotes for customers
• Communicates lead times on products
• Communicates payment procedures to customers
• Provides customers with expected delivery dates
• Sources and searches for parts with our vendors
• Process customer orders via credit card and/or PO’s
• Purchases products from vendors when the quote is approved
• Creates POs for purchased products
• Provides information to vendors for shipments.
• Follow up with current customers to ensure client satisfaction
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve issues or concerns
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or above
• Proven experience in sales or customers service with a minimum of one year of experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets

Additional Details

• Supervisory responsibilities: No
• Work environment: Warehouse and office setting
• Physical demands: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• Travel required: As needed by business, but less than 10%

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Experience:
