JOB Objective: Serve our guests memorable drinks and provide a friendly atmosphere enhancing guest experience.
Key Areas of Responsibility: Preparing drinks for guests while maintaining a well-stocked clean and inviting bar area.
Specific Duties of a bartender:
· Proper preparation and garnishments of all drinks.
· Adhere to all liquor laws and check ids on all guests who appear under the legal age of 21 years old.
· Direct cocktail servers.
· Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar and lounge.
· Process all paperwork, balance the register and handle cash and credit cards according to hotel standards.
· Insure all bar personnel are in proper uniform.
· Serve food and beverage to guests at the bar and tables.
· Be aware of guest liquor consumption and know when to cut-off the guest for their safety. Use the standard operating procedure that must follow when cutting a guest.
· Other Duties and Responsibilities as may be designated
Qualifications: Personable, polite, courteous, out going and neat appearance. Good listener. Ability to work quickly and accurately. Well organized, have good memory and good math skills. Position requires regular, reliable attendance. Must be flexible for scheduling purposes.
Education/Experience: Prior bartending experience of 1 year preferred but not necessary. Thorough knowledge of mixology and liquor laws required.
