Job Title: Lead Technician
Location: Vero Beach, FL (Onsite)
Status: Full-Time
Reports To: Operations Manager or Service Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Technician to oversee daily technical operations, support field and shop technicians, and ensure high-quality service delivery. The Lead Technician will troubleshoot complex technical issues, coordinate projects, maintain safety and quality standards, and provide leadership and training to team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise technicians in daily operations and field assignments
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced technical issues
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards
- Train, mentor, and support junior technicians and new hires
- Coordinate scheduling, workflow, and project priorities with management
- Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on equipment or systems
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation
- Monitor inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Assist management with performance evaluations and operational improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
- 3–7 years of technical or field service experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and relevant software
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required

Work Environment
The peak season for Indrio Fields spans from November through January, PTO blackouts will apply in peak season.
