The RF Test Technician is responsible for supporting the testing and validation of radar subsystems and components. This role involves working with RF instrumentation, assembling RF components and wiring, and executing radio frequency tests in accordance with technical procedures and applicable defense and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform RF testing on radar subsystems using standard RF test equipment and instrumentation.
- Assemble and integrate RF components, including RF wiring and connectors.
- Set up and operate test equipment in laboratory or controlled test environments.
- Follow detailed technical procedures, test plans, and documentation requirements.
- Record and report test results accurately and support troubleshooting when needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable defense, quality, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (AS/AAS) in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Systems, Control Systems, or related technical field
- OR technical/trade school certification as an Electronics or Telecommunications Technician.
- Experience working with RF instrumentation and RF testing equipment.
- Hands-on experience with RF wiring, cabling, and component assembly.
- Familiarity with laboratory or production test environments.
- Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and documentation.
- Experience working with defense or aerospace standards is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, RF Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience supporting radar or defense-related systems.
- Spanish language skills are a plus
