Full Job Description:
Provide project controls, scheduling, and contractor coordination support for two Natural Gas Combined Cycle projects at E.W. Brown Generating Station and Mill Creek Generating Station. Support LG&E-KU Project Managers overseeing the Power Island Equipment (PIE) contract, EPC contract and other ancillary related project work. Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, track critical equipment deliveries, identify schedule risks, and serve as an expeditor when activities trend behind schedule.
Required Experience
10 years of project controls, scheduling, project management, engineering, construction, utility, or industrial project experience. Experience with Primavera P6 and Critical Path Method scheduling preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting power generation, combined cycle, EPC, or major capital projects. PMP or PMI-SP certifications desirable.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related technical field.
Working Conditions
Combination of office and field work at E.W. Brown and Mill Creek Generating Stations, contractor offices, and supplier locations.
