Indotronix is seeking a QA Analyst in the Pittsburgh, PA, location for our direct client

Position Title: QA Analyst

Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA  

Ability to work remotely: No - fully in office.

Acceptable time zone(s): EST

Days of the week: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: Flexible - typically 8 am start

Duration: Contract to hire

Industry background:

Finance or Banking is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

Create and conduct API requests, collections, and environments in Postman for validation and assertions. Collaborate with developers, QEs, and POs to understand requirements and define test scenarios. Create and maintain test strategies, test cases, and test result documentation.

Must Have Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in Java or JavaScript for automation scripting.

2. Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.

3. Hands-on experience with IntelliJ IDE.

4. Proficiency using version control systems like GIT, Bitbucket.

5. Strong understanding of test data validation. 6. Familiarity with JIRA for bug tracking and reporting.                                                                                                                                                                             

7. Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.

8. Experience in both manual and automated testing environments.

9. Understanding of SDLC methodologies

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

1. Experience with Junit or Karate

2. MongoDB, SQL, and MySQL for test data validation.

Soft Skills:

1. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.

2. Develops clear documentation to ensure transparency and auditability

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's required.

2 rounds; 1st - virtual, 2nd - in person
