Job Posting: Customer Service Rep II (Mortgage Origination Professionals)
Location: 5757 Decatur Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46241 (On-site)
Duration: 6 months (Contract)
Pay Rate: $25.10/hr on W2
Shifts: 8 hours between 7:30 AM 6:30 PM ET
Position Overview
We are seeking mortgage professionals to answer inbound inquiries from lenders and the public regarding FHA guidelines, policies, and procedures while navigating a knowledge database and documenting contacts.
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Answer high-volume calls and emails from lending industry professionals and the public regarding FHA guidelines and procedures.
- Problem Solving & Research: Utilize industry knowledge and internal databases/systems to accurately research and resolve client requests following standard operating procedures.
- Documentation: Thoroughly document all customer contacts and interactions in the tracking database.
- Continuous Learning: Keep up to date on evolving FHA mortgage processes, procedures, and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of mortgage origination experience (e.g., Loan Processor, Loan Officer, Junior Underwriter, Mortgage Originator) AND minimum 1 year of contact center or telephone customer service experience.
- Education: High School diploma or GED certificate.
- Technical & Soft Skills: Ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously, strong time management, excellent phone etiquette, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Typing Speed: Keyboarding proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM).
- Clearance: Ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance (includes background investigation and credit check).
Preferred Qualifications
- Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written) - strongly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Direct background or knowledge of FHA guidelines.
- Environment: Omnichannel contact center experience.
