Position: Sr Neo4j DBA

Position Location: Birmingham, AL, Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX OR Remote

Ability to work remotely: Yes, but for Tech Hubs (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)

Duration: 6 Months

Function of the Group: Operations – database support of new project platforms / Database support for Neo4j Platform

Industry background: Database Background required

Team Dynamic: The Team consists of 3; the candidate will be the 4th addition to the team; the candidate will be coming in to add value in terms of setting up standards and implementations so that we can move forward to standardize the entire platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:

*Significant Experience with Neo4j and Cypher query language.

• 5-7 years’ experience in the design and implementation of complex distributed systems architectures

• Expertise in graph-driven data science applications, such as graph-based feature engineering, graph embedding, or graph neural networks

• Experience building Enterprise Level Standards and Gold Images for provisioning

• Experience with Encryption Solutions for Neo4j

• Experience with Backup & Recovery Methodologies used for Neo4J

• Experience with Neo4J HA Architecture for Critical Applications (Clustering, Multiple Data Centers, etc.)

• Experience with LDAP LDAP-based authentication & Authorization for Neo4j

• Experience in high availability and disaster recovery solutions

• Current hands-on experience with at least two coding and scripting languages, e.g. Python, Java, Scala, Shell Scripting

• Analytical skills are necessary to perform troubleshooting of errors and performance issues

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Results-oriented and able to work across the organization as an individual contributor

• Ability to work in a rapidly transforming organization

• Excellent customer service skills

• Technically proficient in assigned IT discipline(s)

• Experience with Non-Relational technologies such as Mongodb, Redis is a Plus.

1. Neo4J Database Administration

1. Standardization experience for a large platform

Role Differentiator:

This is a more mixed role. The company is trying to implement standards, and this position gives exposure to a niche technology.

Interview Process:

1st interview: 30min (1 on 1/ panel)

2nd interview: 60min (panel-style)
