Position: Sr Neo4J DBA

Position Location: Remote

Birmingham, AL, Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX Highly Preferred

Ability to work remote: Yes, but For Tech Hubs (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)

Function of the Group: Operations – database support of new project platforms / Database support for Neo4J Platform

Industry background: Database Background required

Team Dynamic: Team consists of 3; candidate will be the 4th addition to the team; candidate will be coming in to add value in terms of setting up standards and implementations so that we can move forward to standardize the entire platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Significant Experience with Neo4j and Cypher query language.
• 5-7 years’ experience in design and implementation of complex distributed systems architectures
• Expertise in graph driven data science applications, such as graph-based feature engineering, graph embedding, or graph neural networks
• Experience building Enterprise Level Standards and Gold Images for provisioning
• Experience with Encryption Solutions for Neo4J
• Experience with Backup & Recovery Methodologies used for Neo4J
• Experience with Neo4J HA Architecture for Critical Applications (Clustering, Multiple Data Centers, etc.)
• Experience with LDAP Based Authentication & Authorization for Neo4J
• Experience in high availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Current hands-on experience with at least two coding and scripting languages e.g. Python, Java, Scala, Shell Scripting
• Analytical skills necessary to perform troubleshooting of errors and performance issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Results-oriented and able to work across the organization as an individual contributor
• Ability to work in a rapidly transforming organization
• Excellent customer service skills
• Technically proficient in assigned IT discipline(s)
• Experience with non-relational technologies such as MongoDB, Redis is a Plus.

Role Differentiator: This is a more mixed role. The company is trying to implement standards, and this position gives exposure to a niche technology.
