The selected candidate will join a high-performing team known for delivering exceptional service and driving customer satisfaction across the public safety communications industry. The role involves both strategic planning and hands-on execution, requiring travel to customer sites and corporate/general offices as needed.

- Design NGCS, networking, and call handling systems tailored to client needs.
- Serve as a technical resource in pre-sales activities, working closely with account teams to develop and present effective solutions.
- Coordinate and manage complex projects, ensuring timelines, milestones, and quality standards are met.
- Provide technical support, maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution—both remotely and on-site.
- Assist and collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, support, and sales) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Exercise sound judgment and exceptional decision-making to solve problems and drive project success.
- Apply a high degree of creativity to adapt and tailor solutions for diverse client environments.
- Contribute to team goals while taking initiative on individual responsibilities and innovation efforts.
- Document technical processes, best practices, and solution configurations.
- Engage in continuous learning, training, and professional development to stay ahead of industry trends and company offerings.
- Ability to interface and assist the PMO representative.
- Develop knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet environments
- Develop knowledge of infield VPN connections
- Develop knowledge of SBC and voice operations
- Develop SIP expertise
- Develop knowledge of Asterisk and similar VOIP systems
- Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, telephony, and other internal database systems/flows, and computer-related technologies
- Differentiate functional issues from technical issues, and work within a team environment to effectively resolve customer issues
- Support network equipment according to our standards ensuring proper installation of cabling, operating systems, and appropriate software

- Maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Be willing to work as required with a flexible schedule to accomplish departmental goals and be available by phone or other communications device(s) as needed.
- In instances when you cannot be available, you will need to make arrangements for someone else to cover your responsibilities and ensure that your manager has been advised of the circumstances.
- Attend meetings and planning discussions that may be scheduled outside regular working hours.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
- Present a clean, neat, businesslike workspace and appearance; wear appropriate attire and safety equipment (as needed)
