Indy West Christian School is seeking a caring, organized, and dependable Christian individual to serve as Lunch Coordinator for the 2026–2027 school year. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily lunch operations while modeling Christ‑centered character and professionalism within our school community.
Professional Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well with students and adults
- Prior experience in a fast‑paced environment preferred

- A personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ
- Active support of the school's Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement
- A commitment to serving as a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions
- Evidence of spiritual maturity, integrity, and a clear Christian testimony

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the lunch program with the local school district food service manager
- Managing student and staff lunch accounts, balances, deposits, and reconciliations through FACTS
- Inputting lunch menus for FACTS online ordering
- Recording and communicating daily lunch counts
- Monitoring and following up on negative account balances with families
- Maintaining kitchen inventory and a clean, ready‑to‑use kitchen environment
- Cleaning high‑touch areas according to the school's cleaning schedule
- Maintaining confidentiality and positive communication with students, families, and staff
- Supporting the mission and ministry of the school and performing other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and move throughout school facilities
