The Indiana University School of Medicine-Fort Wayne (IUSM-FW) is seeking well‐qualified and highly motivated applicants for a clinical‐track faculty position in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Pharmacology. Competitive candidates will have a significant background in teaching medical and professional students. The primary responsibilities for this education-focused position are contributing to the IUSM years one and two teaching mission in the areas of biochemical and molecular basis of human health, genetics and fundamental biological processes. Additional responsibilities include participating in IUSM-FW’s Scholarly Concentration program in Health Care Integration and Healthy Aging and contributing to the service mission of the school. An active research program is not a requirement for the positions, but the ability to engage in scholarship that mentors students, preferably in the areas of basic science or medical education, will be considered a plus.

Opportunities exist for collaborations in course development across the School of Medicine including in areas of cell and tissue function, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology and medical genetics. The successful applicant will have opportunities to engage in relevant service opportunities with the department and school.
