Overview
Hours of Operation
- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday (40 hours per week)
- No weekends or holidays!
Location
- Current: North Hospital MOB
- Relocation: The practice will move in May to a new facility approximately 1 mile from the current office.

- Cerner experience (preferred)
- Previous medical office experience (a plus)
- General customer service background
Key Responsibilities
- Patient check‑in and check‑out
- Managing pool messages and Ecare tasks
- Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments
- Handling incoming calls and directing patients/visitors appropriately
- Collecting and verifying demographic, financial, and insurance information
- Explaining department/hospital policies, procedures, and patient charges
- Entering charges and collecting payments as needed
- Ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the practice
Expected Competency:
- Able to work independently within 3 months
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Relevant experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to learn and retain medical coding; ICD‑10 and CPT coding preferred
- Ability to interpret insurance information; knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
