To serve as a professional staff employee of the Indiana State Police whose primary responsibility is to provideaccurateand complete criminal history records for the purpose of background checks.
- Assess, input, file, organize and retrieve informationusing variouscomputer applications and systems.
- Review and entry ofcriminalarrests anddispositionsin the Criminal History system
- Access Prosecutor Portal,Doxpop,MyCaseandIClerkmailboxfor the entry and updating of dispositions
- Process Court orders
- Complete requests for FBI/NICS to include Restoration of Rights, Gun Denials and Domestic Violence Determinations–IDACS Certified
- Ability tooperateand maintain office equipment to includecomputer,copier, faxmachineandshredder
- Perform other duties asrequired
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent GED
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Ability tomaintainconfidentiality
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to function independently with minimal supervision, prioritizeworkand meet deadlines.
- Ability to proofread documents with accuracy
