Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is looking to add to our CNA Team. Compass Park is a vast 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County adjacent to Indianapolis. It is a vibrant community through all seasons and a place of beauty, rich in tall trees and winding footpaths. This job is in Franklin, IN.
Available Shifts: Evenings and Nights
CNA Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care to the facility residents.
- Complete assignments and assist other staff with their assignments when able.
- Document care delivery in an accurate and timely manner.
- Report pertinent changes in residents to the immediate supervisor.
- Work in cooperation and respectfully with other departments within the facility.
- Serve as a dependable employee by working on scheduled days and showing up to work on time.
- Follow direction and complete tasks assigned by the Charge Nurse.
- Adhere to safety precautions per each resident’s plan of care.
- Assist in the process of orientation of new staff members.
CNA Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- A valid Indiana State Department of Health Nurse Aide Certification required.
- Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills.
- A minimum of 6 months prior nursing experience in long term care preferred.
