To provide administrative support to the Office of the Registrar through accurate and timely requests for review of degree requirement status from students, faculty, and staff. Maintain database systems, review degree progress, and monitor progress from time the petition is received until it is determined that the students have completed the degree requirements and are eligible to graduate and/or participate in commencement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact with students, staff, and faculty for graduation petition deadlines, pre- and post-clearance processes, commencement, convocation, etc.
- Maintain, monitor, and respond to graduation e-mail inbox
- Review, process degree audits and petitions for academic clearance multiple times a year
- Plan and coordinate with multiple offices to execute the annual Commencement ceremony
- Update graduation and Commencement resources
- Serve as liaison to Jostens (regalia) and Tassel (name pronunciation)
- Assist with phone calls and office walk-ins
- Perform various other duties as assigned
- Detail-oriented and the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize with strong time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines on a regular basis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Associate’s degree required
- Customer service experience required
- Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Preferred: Computer skills, particularly Jenzabar or similar Student Information System
- Preferred: higher education experience
