What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Staff position at Indiana County Humane Society Inc?
Are you ok with saying, "Martin no!, Martin look out!" all throughout your day and struggle to get work done at times because there are office cats on your desk? WELL look no further!
All jokes aside, our cats are amazing! Even though this position is at the front desk, you will get work alongside our office cats as well! That's a pretty awesome perk! There is also opportunity to work with the other animals as well.
The front desk is a critical part of our shelter. Some of the duties of the front desk workers are but are not limited to, answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing applications, inputting all animals into our system, inputting medical notes and treatments, keeping the front areas clean and organized, keeping Martins Merch organized, and greeting our guests with a positive attitude.
MUST be available to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 9-5. Occasional 12-5p will also be scheduled.
MUST be at least 18 years old and be able to lift at least 30lbs. MUST also have your own reliable transportation and the ability to drive in most conditions. Remember the animals need us 365 days a year! You MUST be a dedicated reliable worker!
