Position Profile
Indian Trail Club is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Racquets Pro Shop Attendant. In this role, you will contribute to the overall member and guest experience by providing outstanding service and supporting daily Pro Shop operations. This is a year-round, part-time position offering flexible start dates. Availability for days, evenings, and weekends is required.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with inquiries and offer product recommendations.
- Ensure a positive customer experience for all Pro Shop visitors.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale system and process transactions accurately.
- Handle returns and exchanges efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Pro Shop environment.
- Restock merchandise and ensure products are displayed attractively.
- Set up promotional displays as directed by the Pro Shop Manager.
- Assist guests with equipment rentals, ensuring proper fit and functionality.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the Pro Shop Manager of low-stock items.
- Participate in regular inventory counts.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise shipments.
- Provide accurate information regarding Club policies, programs, and services.
- Communicate effectively with members, guests, and fellow team members.
- Support closing procedures, including POS reconciliation and securing the Pro Shop.
Position Requirements
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to adhere to a set work schedule.
- Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weight, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Familiarity with tennis and/or other racquet sports is a plus.
