What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Services Attendant- Part-Time- Shooting Range position at Indian River County Board of County Commissioners?
Answers telephone, greets visitors and receives inquiries.
Provides exceptional customer service/guest relations.
Assists guests with Range Registration.
Assists with point-of-sale operations.
Maintains and updates logs, files, and records.
Performs light housekeeping duties.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma / GED and at least (1) one year of related customer service/administrative work experience, or an equivalent combination of formal education and related working experience. This position is expected to work weekends and holidays when the Shooting Range is open.
Licenses, Certifications or Registrations:
Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
Knowledge of office policies and procedures.
Knowledge and practice of organizational and time management skills.
Ability to operate various office equipment.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to use a personal computer and various computer programs.
Ability to maintain and update logs, files, and records with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to prepare correspondence and reports.
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to effectively interact and establish positive working relationships with staff and the public.
Typing/keyboard skills.
Knowledge and/or the ability to learn about firearms and their safe use is paramount.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service, both in person and over the phone.
Ability to operate a point-of-sale cash register and provide accurate change.
