Duties: ESSENTIAL FUNCITONS Conducts comprehensive evaluations, overall findings and diagnoses of patients through use of history and other appropriate tests Administer and interpret screening, assessment, and diagnostic procedures, such as air conduction, bone conduction, speech audiometry, acoustic emittance (impedance) tests Design rehabilitation programs to help patients learn to identify sounds Measure hearing ability, and/or severity of hearing loss in individuals of all ages Assess the benefit of amplification devices, such as hearing aids Educate individuals on the use and care/maintenance of hearing aids or other assistive listening devices Maintains knowledge and proficiency through continuing education, staff meetings and workshop participation Participates in departmental orientation, on the job training and quality assurance programs/initiatives Participates in a variety of department and hospital educational programs to maintain current skill and competency levels; identifies and discusses performance or training needs with Supervisor Performs other duties as required Qualifications: Doctorate Degree in Audiology (AuD), Masters of Audiology (M.A.) or Masters of Science Degree in Audiology (M.S.) Master or Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree from an accredited Audiology program, required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), preferred Current, unrestricted and valid State license in Audiology, Arizona preferred Current basic CPR designation or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire Work Type: Permanent, Full Announcement #: 570822750 Who May Apply?
