Territory Sales Manager (TSM) - Northern California
Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Territory Sales Manager to grow market share by building relationships with contractors, engineers, and distributors in high-potential territories. This is a fast-paced, growth-focused environment where strong sellers can make an immediate impact.
- Reports To: VP of Sales – West Region
- Territories Hiring: Northern California (can be based in Sacramento, San Jose, San Francisco, or surrounding areas)
- Travel: Up to 75% (including overnight and heavy local travel)
Products Sold
- PVF and plumbing products to the industrial and commercial sector
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business using both bottom-up (contractor) and top-down (engineer/specification) selling approaches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, distributors, and key accounts.
- Execute territory sales plans aligned with company growth goals.
- Deliver product presentations, trainings, and demos.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and pricing packages.
- Gather market insights and competitive intelligence.
- Attend trade shows, buying group events, and customer site visits.
- Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to ensure strong customer support.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing sales (plumbing preferred).
- Proven hunter mentality with strong territory development skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
- Organized, self-driven, and professional communicator.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred in some markets.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
