Index Packaging is a growing manufacturing company with four New Hampshire facilities and over 200 employees dedicated to delivering high-quality custom packaging solutions.

We're looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate to join our team. This hands-on position plays an important role in keeping materials and finished products moving safely and accurately through our operation.

What You'll Do:

As a Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate, you'll help prepare outgoing orders, receive incoming materials, and keep our warehouse organized and running efficiently.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Prepare, package, and stage customer orders for shipment.
• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments for accuracy.
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently using material handling equipment.
• Build, wrap, and secure pallets and crates for delivery.
• Weigh and label products using warehouse scales and tracking systems.
• Complete and review shipping and receiving paperwork accurately.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and locate products as needed.
• Identify and differentiate between Index Packaging product lines.
• Safely operate hand tools such as box cutters and tape measures.
• Work with warehouse leads and supervisors to complete daily shipping and receiving priorities.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Helpful experience includes:

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience.
• Loading and unloading trailers.
• Preparing and staging orders for shipment.
• Inventory or warehouse tracking systems.
• Forklift operation or other material handling equipment.

You should be comfortable with:

• Reading a tape measure, including fractions.
• Performing basic math and measurements.
• Following written and verbal instructions.
• Managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Working independently and as part of a team.
• Maintaining reliable and consistent attendance.

Forklift certification is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Physical Requirements:

This is an active warehouse position requiring:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds independently.
• Team lifting for heavier or oversized materials.
• Working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with moderate noise and temperature variations.
• Safe operation of warehouse tools and material handling equipment.
