Index Packaging is a growing manufacturing company with four New Hampshire facilities and more than 200 employees dedicated to delivering innovative packaging solutions.

We're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Estimator to join our team.

If you enjoy solving problems, working with numbers, and collaborating with multiple departments to develop accurate project costs, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll develop accurate cost estimates for custom packaging projects while supporting pricing decisions that help keep our company competitive and profitable.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for custom manufacturing and packaging projects.
• Analyzing labor, material, overhead, and production costs.
• Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
• Partnering with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership on pricing strategies.
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintaining estimating information within ERP systems.
• Monitoring supplier pricing and market trends.
• Presenting pricing recommendations and cost analyses to internal teams.
• Supporting continuous improvement of estimating processes.
• Occasional local and regional travel as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone who enjoys working with data, has strong attention to detail, and can confidently balance accuracy with deadlines.

Ideal experience includes:

• Experience in estimating, cost analysis, pricing, or a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing processes and cost data.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Education & Experience:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant estimating or analytical experience will be considered.
