Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Staff Pharmacist to join our independent retail pharmacy team. This position offers flexibility for part-time or full-time hours, working 3–4 days per week, with no weekends required.
Our pharmacy emphasizes personalized care, strong patient relationships, and a supportive team environment.
Schedule
- 3–4 days per week
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- No weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with New Jersey state and federal regulations
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and clinical appropriateness
- Provide patient counseling on medications, including proper use, side effects, and adherence
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and workflow to maintain efficiency and accuracy
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels
- Administer immunizations in accordance with state guidelines
- Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Deliver excellent customer service in a community-focused setting
Qualifications
- PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited pharmacy program
- Active New Jersey Pharmacist License in good standing
- Immunization certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred but not required
