PROGRAM: Day Site for Adults Disabilities
POSITION: Direct Support Professional
Independent Opportunities provides interactive and engaging activities and games for our friends to encourage independence and success in their day to day lives. We enjoy movies, games, crafts, picnics and more in a more slow paced and generally low stress environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or a GED (exceptions may be made by the Administrative Director, if a high school diploma or GED has not been obtained, on a case-by-case basis).
Direct Support Professionals must also complete background checks through the Division of Criminal Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the DFS Central Registry screening. A valid Wyoming Drivers License,and a DMV background check is required for all drivers.
Independent Opportunities pays for training on plan of cares, Med assistance training (MAT), State training and 1st aid and CPR.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
