Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Day, Evening & Overnight Shifts Available
Equal Beginnings LLC is looking for dependable, caring, and motivated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) supporting adults with developmental disabilities in residential and community settings.
We currently have several shifts available and are looking for applicants who can provide consistent, reliable coverage.
Current Open Shifts
Evening & Overnight
- Wednesday 4:00 PM – Thursday 9:00 AM — 2 positions available
- Thursday 4:00 PM – Friday 9:00 AM — 1 position available
Weekend Days
- Saturday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Applicants may be considered for one or multiple available shifts depending on availability and scheduling needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities and routines
- Support community outings, recreation, and social activities
- Provide evening, overnight, or daytime supervision and support depending on scheduled shift
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
- Complete required documentation and communication logs accurately
- Assist with meals, medications, and personal care as needed
- Provide companionship, encouragement, and positive support
- Transport individuals when necessary
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and meaningful participation in daily life
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required
- Paid training is provided
