East End Disability Associates Inc. is a mission-driving nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). EEDA is looking for a full-time Staffing & Recreation Coordinator to help support EEDA's residential programs.
Shift: Full-time, flexibility required based on program needs. Expected to work 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day.
Rate: $27/hr.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Staffing Coordination & Workforce Support (Residential Focus)
· Coordinate and manage scheduling for per diem and relief staffing to meet residential program needs.
· Maintain an accurate, up-to-date database of per diem staff availability, credentials, and assignments.
· Collaborate with Residence Managers, Program Coordinators, and the Director of Residential Services to fill open shifts.
· Serve as a primary point of contact for per diem staff regarding scheduling, expectations, and engagement.
· Partner with Human Resources and Training to support onboarding, compliance, and required certifications.
· Ensure new per diem staff leave orientation with scheduled shifts and appropriate program placement.
· Support completion of competency evaluations and provide feedback or corrective guidance as appropriate.
· Attend residential leadership meetings and conduct periodic site visits.
Recreational Programming & Community Engagement:
· Plan, organize, and facilitate recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of individuals supported in residential programs.
· Develop and distribute monthly recreational calendars for assigned residences.
· Schedule and document daily recreational activities.
· Support community outings, cultural events, athletics, arts programming, and social recreation.
· Collaborate with Day Habilitation staff to align recreational approaches and share resources.
· Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations and vendors.
· Ensure safety, supervision, and adherence to agency policies during activities.
Direct Support & Program Support:
· Provide direct care support as needed.
· Model professional conduct reflective of EEDA’s mission and values.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This is the primary supervisor of per diem staff, but does not supervise full-time employees.
