Independent Home Health Care, LLC is seeking caring, compassionate, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTA) and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) who are experienced working in Home Health Care. Traditional Medicare and Medicaid experience a plus.
Independent Home Health is a company that provides several service lines with the goal of keeping patients in their home and community.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in occupational therapy or physical therapy from an accredited college or university.
Current Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification (COTA) or Physical Therapy Assistant Certification (PTA) in the state of Indiana.
Valid driver's license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Perform routine duties independent of supervision but consult with others as required.
Performs patient care as indicated by written plan of care
Under Supervision of Director of Clinical Services and other healthcare team members.
Preferred
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Proficient in using EMR systems, (Axxess).
Minimum Of 2 Years Home Health Experience.
General knowledge of home health practices, including familiarity with relevant state and local regulations.
