Role Overview
The Engagement Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving account growth, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.
This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and Indegene, aligning business objectives with client needs while identifying opportunities for long-term partnerships and revenue expansion.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences organizations and possess a strong understanding of commercial, regulatory, and operational dynamics within the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts and build strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand client goals, challenges, and business priorities, partnering with internal SMEs to deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure seamless execution of projects across cross-functional teams while maintaining SLA adherence.
- Lead client meetings, deliver compelling presentations, and conduct regular business review meetings.
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively resolve issues.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Analytics, Compliance, and Project Management teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify opportunities for account growth through upselling, cross-selling, and renewals.
- Stay current with pharmaceutical industry trends, healthcare regulations, and competitive market developments.
Desired Profile
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience as an Account Manager or Engagement Manager, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Experience managing digital omnichannel engagement projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of the web development lifecycle.
- Experience working with Project Management tools and Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience working independently and within collaborative cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations and client service environments.
- Experience managing enterprise or strategic healthcare/pharma accounts.
Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across onsite and offshore delivery models.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree (minimum graduation required).
