Job Summary
Warehouse Associates broadly support the functions of the warehouse. This position in particular has a mechanical maintenance component. This includes troubleshooting and performing maintenance on varying types of mixing and pumping equipment. Some direct responsibilities include but are not limited to: receiving incoming freight, inspecting shipments, organizing and cataloguing materials, inventory and backorder management, picking and packing shipments, processing orders, ensuring quality of packaging/packing, arranging and managing freight and parcel shipments, inspecting returns, approving materials for restocking, and maintenance work on special equipment. We are a growing company with a fast-paced work environment – other tasks may be assigned as they need to be addressed.
Requirements
Comfort spending extended periods of time on your feet inside and outside of a warehouse environment
Ability to lift, lower and shift packages up to 75 pounds
Forklift experience
Experience working within inventory/ERP systems, comfort using technology in day-to-day work
Critical thinking skills and the ability to coordinate as part of a team
Well developed communication skills, both verbal and written
Mechanical skills including troubleshooting and performing maintenance on mixing and pumping equipment
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age
