CPG Account Director
We are seeking a driven and consultative Account Director to lead sales growth with large Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies. This role is responsible for building relationships with senior decision-makers, developing insight-driven proposals, and selling innovative digital, in-store, and omni-channel marketing solutions that deliver measurable results. The Account Director will play a key role in new business development, account expansion, and maintaining strong client partnerships across the CPG landscape.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, needs analysis, solution development, proposal delivery, and closing.

Build and maintain relationships with senior-level CPG decision-makers to understand business objectives and design strategies that drive measurable ROI.

Develop client-centric campaigns leveraging digital, shopper, and in-store marketing capabilities.

Engage internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights, Operations, Finance, and Leadership) to uncover opportunities and elevate proposals.

Create compelling presentations and proposals that leverage data, insights, and financial models to influence client decision-making.

Maintain a disciplined cadence of pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to ensure consistent growth against sales targets.

Consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue and profitability goals.
Qualifications

4 years of experience selling into Consumer Packaged Goods companies or working within CPG with a focus on B2B sales to retailers or partners.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative selling environment.

Strong experience with digital media, shopper marketing, or omni-channel solutions.

Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior decision-makers.

Highly analytical, with experience leveraging syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, Numerator, etc.) to develop tailored client solutions.

Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive selling stories.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Bachelor’s degree required.
