Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Housing Program Coordinator to lead our Domestic Violence Rapid Rehousing Program offered to diverse clients of InCourage including providing direct services to households experiencing homelessness and fleeing domestic violence. This position includes possible supervision of 1 housing staff member. The Housing Program Coordinator also has the opportunity to work on program and policy/procedure development.
Responsibilities
- Enroll households and help them find housing
- Advocate for households who have rental barriers with landlords and property management companies
- Provide case management to households for duration of the program
- Perform annual assessment of service needs and ongoing rental calculations
- Participate in various coalitions, committees, and work groups that focus on housing and victims at the local and state levels and manage relationships with partners
- Participate in the semi-annual Point In Time count and outreach events as needed.
- Maintain client files and complete necessary paperwork and forms in timely manner
- Complete reports to funders on time
- Provide program statistics and information for grants and reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or related field, or 2 years related experience.
- 2 years experience working in supportive housing services
- Experience working with HUD grants a plus!
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Must be highly organized and adhere to strict deadlines
- Ability to help individuals explore options and strategies and problem solve their situations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with people from diverse backgrounds whose lives are affected by abuse and other issues.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to support healthy interaction, to mediate and to resolve conflict.
- Must have valid Driver's License
- Excellent computer skills

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,790.00 per year
