The position focuses on responding to support tickets, investigating issues on Linux servers, and supporting a RedHat and Oracle Linux environment. About This Opportunity

The position focuses on responding to support tickets, investigating issues on Linux servers, and supporting a RedHat and Oracle Linux environment. Responsibilities
- Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of install Linux systems
- Discussing Linux server systems and upgrades with IT managers
- Installing or upgrading Linux systems and servers
- Providing technical support for internal customers
- Troubleshooting system and server errors
- Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors
- Maintaining server architecture
- Will create and maintain a highly robust automation system and identify other areas of mundane and repeated implementations / operations tasks and will integrate them into the automated systems
- Will track and report all incidents, problems, outages, and successes
- 0-2 years of experience with Linux systems administration or infrastructure support.
- Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with Git and configuration-management tools such as Ansible.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Basic knowledge of Redhat Satellite or SUSE Manager .
- Familiarity with Bash or Python scripting.
