About This Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Developer with hands-on experience in Oracle database development. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle database architecture, PL/SQL programming, and the design and development of complex Oracle database objects. This role requires a strong understanding of performance tuning, data modeling, and enterprise-level application integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle database objects including tables, views, indexes, sequences, packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Write efficient and optimized PL/SQL code to support business applications and data processing.
- Collaborate with application developers, DBAs, and business analysts to design scalable and maintainable database solutions.
- Perform performance tuning and query optimization for large-scale databases.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data integration solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and architecture discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Document database designs, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oracle database development.
- Expert-level proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL.
- Strong experience with Oracle database objects and schema design.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Experience with Oracle 12c/19c or later.
- Familiarity with Oracle tools such as SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, and TOAD.
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
