This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
A volunteer will review and edit existing website copy for clarity, tone, and inclusivity, and draft copy for new pages the organization is creating. It is important to us that our website copy promotes a forthright, friendly, trustworthy, and approachable image. Deliverables should include written recommendations and editable copy drafts.
Clear, inclusive web copy with a forthright and approachable tone will help the organization communicate its programs and resources more effectively, reduce barriers to access, and better welcome diverse communities. Volunteers’ work will directly support people finding resources, feeling represented, and engaging with our mission.
Details such as site access, target pages, and any brand or audience notes will be provided during our working sessions. Our team will be available for regular check-ins, provide timely feedback on drafts, and implement approved copy.
Inclusive Minds Foundation Mission: Our mission is to create a world where diverse minds are celebrated, and everyone has access to the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through innovative programs, inclusive spaces, and meaningful advocacy, we aim to break down barriers, foster understanding, and empower individuals to live authentically. Together, we’re building a brighter, more inclusive future—one connection at a time.
