We’re looking for a hands-on Sous Chef who can lead from the line, maintain high food quality, and confidently interact with guests in an open kitchen environment. This role is for someone who thrives under pressure, takes ownership, and understands both execution and the business side of the kitchen.
What You’ll Do
- Support and lead the kitchen during service, especially high-volume periods
- Jump on the line and execute at a high level when needed
- Maintain consistency, presentation, and food quality across all dishes
- Engage with guests in an open kitchen setting — professional, friendly, and confident
- Oversee prep execution and ensure readiness for service
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Help manage food cost, waste, and portioning
- Support training and accountability of kitchen staff
What We’re Looking For
- Strong line cook background with leadership experience
- Ability to stay composed and execute during high-volume service
- Comfortable interacting with guests — this is not a back-of-house-only role
- Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and standards
- Solid understanding of inventory, costing, and kitchen systems
- Reliable, organized, and takes ownership of their role
- Experience in fast-paced, quality-driven kitchens preferred
