Employment Type: Full-Time Contract | Onsite Duration: 3-6 months (with extension potential) Tentative Start Date: Decemeber 15, 2025 Role Overview: Incipient Corp is seeking a hands-on Functional Consultant (ERP) to lead day-to-day delivery and coordination for a longstanding Manufacturing and Distribution company currently adopting a new ERP system to modernize and scale its operations. The consultant will serve as the onsite bridge between client stakeholders, the ERP vendor and Incipient’s remote delivery team—ensuring continuous progress across implementation, training, and post-Go-Live stabilization. This role sits at the intersection of functional leadership, data governance, and operational execution, requiring both ERP and general IT awareness. The client’s transformation involves complex pricing and rebate models, inventory structures, and data hierarchy optimization, so a deep understanding of business models, process alignment, and data integrity will be key to success. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage daily ERP implementation activities and act as onsite liaison among the client, vendor, and Incipient project teams. Coordinate closely with the project manager and technical lead to track progress, remove blockers, and maintain schedule alignment. Own end-user training, documentation, and adoption planning. Manage and update issue logs, UAT results, and data-migration trackers. Support integration, configuration, and validation across modules (Sales, Procurement, Finance, Inventory). Oversee or assist with legacy systems and infrastructure when needed (e.g., AS 4100s, networking, desktop support, hardware management, general IT troubleshooting). Act as the client’s functional point of contact for feedback, ensuring smooth communication between business and technical teams. Provide proactive recommendations to improve system usage and business processes. Required Skills & Experience: 5 years of functional ERP experience (implementation through Go-Live). Strong understanding of ERP lifecycles, business process mapping, and UAT execution. Hands-on experience in Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Inventory workflows. Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to train personnel & end users. Excellent client-facing communication and documentation skills. Ability to balance structured project delivery with flexible on-site problem solving. Comfortable managing cross-functional stakeholders and working independently. Preferred Skills & Knowledge: Strong techno-functional ERP background with lean or continuous-improvement exposure. Prior experience with ERP or Odoo ERP environments. Familiarity with data migration, integration projects, and legacy systems. Working knowledge of AS 400/4100 systems, networking, or desktop administration. Ability to provide hands-on IT or operational support if implementation activities pause. Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience in ERP delivery or functional consulting accepted in lieu of degree.
