Title: Computer Support Technician
Qualifier- US Citizen & Green Card holder only.
Job Summary
Work is performed in accordance with detailed instructions and established routines. Employee must exercise tact and courtesy in frequent contact with system users, and employ initiative and independent judgment in completing assigned tasks.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Microsoft Office 365 administration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge in building images for Windows devices
- Working knowledge on Microsoft Intune device enrollment
- Basic knowledge of Intune for device management
- Experience with Bomgar Remote Support tool
- Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners)
- Software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with computer refresh processes (imaging, deployment)
- Strong documentation skills for IT procedures and issue resolution
- Familiarity with KACE ticketing system for IT support requests
- Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree in computer science or information systems, and 1 to 2 years of
- experience in computer system operation; or any equivalent combination of training and
- experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
- Prefer experience with IT inventory accountability, reporting, and reconciliation
- Knowledge in basic network troubleshooting a plus
- Must have adequate communication skills and customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be physically able to operate a variety of computers and their peripheral equipment, and common office machines such as telephones, etc. Must be able to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Requires a valid driver’s license.
- Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Information Technology or equivalent
