Civil Litigation Attorney (Remote / Hybrid - Bellingham / Vancouver, WA)
Hiring: Attorneys with 1 year of litigation experience
Location: Bellingham / Vancouver, Washington (Fully Remote or Hybrid flexibility available; full-time and part-time opportunities)
Compensation: $100,000 - $200,000 base salary bonus, depending on experience, practice area, work arrangement, and overall fit
Annual Hours Expectation: 1,900 for full-time attorneys

Key Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents
- Manage written discovery, document production, and case investigation
- Take and defend depositions as experience permits
- Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
- Assist with and develop litigation strategy
- Prepare witnesses and matters for trial
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments and strategy
- Work collaboratively with attorneys across the firm's Washington and national litigation practices
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active Washington Bar license in good standing
- 1 year of civil litigation experience
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is particularly relevant: Employment, Environmental/Toxic Tort, Product Liability, Commercial Litigation, General Liability, Construction, Healthcare, Professional Liability, or Insurance Defense
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Hands-on discovery and motion-practice experience preferred
- Deposition, hearing, or trial experience is a plus
- Ability to manage assignments independently while working effectively as part of a broader litigation team
- Oregon Bar admission is a plus, but not required
