Civil Litigation Attorney (Hybrid - Kennewick, WA)

Compensation: $120,000 - $200,000 base salary bonus, depending on experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and overall fit
Annual Hours Expectation: 1,900

The firm is particularly interested in attorneys located in or near Wenatchee, Yakima, and Walla Walla who can support its growing Eastern Washington litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution
- Work on commercial, construction, employment, and related civil-defense disputes
- Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and other substantive legal briefs
- Manage written discovery, document production, and case investigation
- Take and defend depositions
- Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
- Develop litigation strategy in coordination with partners and clients
- Prepare witnesses, experts, and matters for trial
- Appear in court as appropriate
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments, strategy, and risk
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's Washington and national litigation practices
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active Washington Bar license in good standing
- 3 years of civil litigation experience
- Experience in Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, Employment Litigation, or a related civil-defense practice
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Hands-on experience with discovery and substantive motion practice
- Deposition and courtroom experience preferred
- Trial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to manage assignments independently with limited supervision
- Additional state Bar admissions are a plus
