System Admin - Cloud Migration

Position: System Admin - Cloud Migration

Compensation: $50 - $55/hour, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City,

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled System Admin - Cloud Migration to join their team!

This role offers the opportunity to work on a significant cloud migration project, transitioning legacy systems from VMware to AWS. The position involves manual builds and provisioning new AWS environments, providing a unique chance to enhance your skills in cloud technology and system administration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provision new EC2 instances based on existing on-prem specs
• Configure VPCs, Security Groups, IAM Roles for manual builds
• Install and harden middleware/base applications
• Collaborate with application owners for data migration
• Ensure OS and patch levels meet current standards
• Manage build of 10-20 servers per week

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3 years of VMware ESXi/vCenter experience
• 2 years of hands-on AWS console/CLI experience
• Strong background in Windows Server/Linux administration
• Meticulous execution and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Apache, SQL, IIS
• Knowledge of IP schemes and naming conventions
• Security group management experience
