Staff Operations Accountant

Position: Staff Operations Accountant

Compensation: $72,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Staff Operations Accountant to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in financial operations. As a Staff Operations Accountant, you will work closely with the Operations team to analyze and understand monthly expenses, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role offers the chance to develop your skills in a supportive environment and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare and calculate monthly LOE accruals
• Review and analyze net LOE trends
• Evaluate LOE for potential coding errors
• Analyze and explain monthly LOE variance
• Assist with preparation of monthly LOE presentation slides
• Collaborate with Operations on accounting questions
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Handle other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline
• Three years of Oil and Gas accounting experience
• Three years of experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Accounting degree preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
