Senior Buyer

Position: Senior Buyer

Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Buyer to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a procurement professional who thrives in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll help drive purchasing strategy, build vendor relationships, and ensure materials and equipment are sourced efficiently to support ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Process purchase orders with accuracy and speed
• Verify requisitions and confirm department needs
• Negotiate with vendors on pricing, terms, and delivery
• Evaluate supplier performance and compliance
• Track shipments and monitor delivery schedules
• Collaborate with teams to forecast demand and inventory
• Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities
• Maintain purchasing records, reports, and filing systems
• Support junior purchasing team members when needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3–5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing
• Experience supporting purchasing for equipment or HVAC products
• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
• Ability to review product specifications and drawings
• Solid understanding of purchase orders and invoicing processes
• Experience with supply chain and inventory management
• Proficiency with procurement software or ERP systems
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Equipment industry purchasing experience
• Previous supervisory experience
• Negotiation certification
• Experience driving process improvements
• Background in supplier compliance tracking
