Revenue Accountant

Position: Revenue Accountant

Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

As a Revenue Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing financial data related to gas and oil sales. This position offers the chance to work closely with marketing and operational teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Record monthly gas and oil sales using SAP
  
• Apply cash receipts accurately and timely
  
• Perform detailed volume and revenue reconciliations
  
• Investigate and explain volume and pricing variances
  
• Prepare and review accounts receivable and general ledger reconciliations
  
• Reconcile and validate unit allocations
  
• Collaborate with marketing and operational teams
  
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings and partner invoices

  • Proven experience in revenue accounting
    
  • Strong proficiency in SAP
    
  • Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
    
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
    
  • Experience with regulatory filings and compliance
