Position: QA Engineer
Compensation: $45 - 54 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled QA Engineer to join their team!
This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on QA professional who enjoys improving software quality through smart testing, automation, and collaboration. You’ll be embedded with cross-functional Agile teams, helping deliver reliable software while reducing testing time through better automation and efficient test coverage.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Build and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Track defects with clear reproduction steps and resolution support
- Support user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
- Improve test environments for reliable execution
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive testing effort
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3–5 years of QA testing and/or development experience
- Experience with test automation frameworks
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Experience with SQL
- API testing experience using Postman or REST Assured
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing processes
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer
- Exposure to New Relic or Dynatrace
- Familiarity with Jira, XRay, Azure DevOps, or Zephyr
- Knowledge of accessibility standards like WCAG and ADA
- ISTQB or similar certification
