AP Accountant

Position: AP Accountant

Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Edmond, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled AP Accountant to join their team!

This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. In this role, you’ll support a collaborative accounting team by managing high-volume accounts payable work, helping keep financial operations accurate, organized, and moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and on time
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documents
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• Reconcile vendor statements and AP accounts
• Maintain organized AP records and vendor files
• Support general ledger coding and accounting accuracy
• Assist with month-end reconciliations and accruals
• Cross-train on credit card transactions and reconciliations
• Partner with internal teams to resolve missing information

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with AP focus
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices
• Strong vendor reconciliation and discrepancy research skills
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Experience with general ledger coding
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to prioritize independently and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Previous credit card reconciliation experience
• Experience supporting month-end close activities
• Familiarity with accounting process improvements
