Payroll Tax Specialist

Position: Payroll Tax Specialist

Compensation: $36 - 41 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Olathe, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Payroll Tax Specialist to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a payroll tax professional who enjoys hands-on work and solving complex compliance issues. You’ll support payroll tax operations across multiple states, helping ensure filings, account setup, and agency communications are handled accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Handle day-to-day payroll tax processing and compliance tasks
• Support state and local tax account setup and changes
• Communicate directly with tax agencies as needed
• Prepare and submit payroll tax forms accurately
• Assist with Power of Attorney and tax authority updates
• Work within ADP payroll systems and related modules
• Support Oracle payroll-related processes when needed
• Balance payroll and payroll tax responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Hands-on payroll tax experience
• Experience handling state payroll taxes and withholding
• Experience setting up or changing tax accounts
• Experience working directly with state tax agencies
• Experience completing payroll tax forms
• Experience with Power of Attorney or tax authority changes
• Working knowledge of ADP
• Familiarity with Oracle payroll
• Strong payroll and payroll tax knowledge

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Broader multi-state payroll tax exposure
• Experience with both payroll and payroll tax functions
• Additional ADP product knowledge
• Experience supporting high-volume compliance work
